Hours: Sunday: 6:30am-2:30pm
             Monday: 9am-5pm
             Tuesday: 9am-5pm
             Wednesday: 12pm-8:00pm (Sunday Rehearsal)
             Thursday: 12:30pm-8:30pm (Church On Thursday)

Level: EXEMPT

Status: Salary - $40,000/yr

General Functions:

EastLake Church is a part of the Community Church Movement (CCM) and it is looking for a motivated and knowledgeable Audio Specialist to join our Production Team in the Creative Arts Department. If you are passionate about remaining up to date on audio systems and striving to maintain dependable technology environments, and enjoy working with teams, you may be a perfect candidate for this position. This role supports production technology systems.

Supervision Received:

Reports directly to Production Director. Employee seeks authorization for broad scope of tasks.

Essential Responsibilities:

  1. Leadership: recruit and lead volunteers in audio production.
  2. Supports EastLake Church teams during execution of services and events.
  3. Uses judgement and decision-making skills to solve complex audio technology issues.
  4. Partners with the Production Director and team to manage standards for equipment.
  5. Provides technical training and support for staff on Audio Production to CCM churches.
  6. Assist in repairs and upgrades to equipment along with additional duties as assigned.

Experience And Educational Requirements:

  1. Associates or Technical degree with certification; or equivalent combination of education and experience (typically 2+ years) preferred.
  2. Self-starter with strong personal organization and time management skills.
  3. Knowledge and ability to operate and troubleshoot technical equipment within audio systems.
  4. Experience with broadcast video, production lighting, and projector systems a plus.
  5. Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and build strong working relationships.

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:

  1. Mobile – In and out of office to ensure task completion.
  2. Able to drive to a church location and movement-wide staff meetings.
  3. Overtime hours as required by ministry needs.
  4. Church staff is required to abide by the Cultural Expectations (tithe, attendance, conduct, etc.).
